The goal was to improve user experience and streamline the appointment booking process. Key issues included menu navigation complexities, inadequate provider search visibility, a lack of branch information, and a less-than-optimal booking process.
UX/UI Changes:
- Easy Menu Navigation:
- Issue: Users found the existing menu structure confusing, impacting the overall navigation experience.
- Approach: Redesigned the menu structure, creating an intuitive layout with sections like Explore, Visits, Notifications, and Settings.
- Visible Provider Search by Sector or Name:
- Issue: The search functionality was not easily accessible, leading to frustration for users seeking specific vendors.
- Approach: Introduced a floating menu with a prominently displayed search bar, also saving recent searches for user convenience.
- Display of Provider Branches:
- Issue: Lack of information about the number of branches under each provider limited users' ability to make informed choices.
- Approach: Implemented a comprehensive display of branch information, including a clean map and list interface with service details.
- Seamless Booking:
- Issue: Users reported difficulties in the appointment scheduling process, affecting the overall user flow.
- Approach: Streamlined the booking process to make it more intuitive and user-friendly, reducing friction in appointment scheduling.
- Check-In Feature:
- Issue: Users desired a feature that allowed them to check in upon arrival and receive reminders.
- Approach: Introduced a check-in feature linked to the Notification Center, providing users with a convenient way to manage upcoming visits.
